Diet Gaucher patients may have higher-than-normal metabolism. Patients with hepatosplenomegaly can frequently have early satiety. Their nutritional needs may not be met. The enlarged organs leave little room in the body cavity for a full stomach, so patients often report a sensation of feeling full, even after having only a few bites of food. A consult with a dietician may be recommended. |
